It features a long and slightly undulating form, creating graceful curved lines.
These irregular curves give the piece a distinctly natural feeling, as though it has been formed directly from living wood.
The underside is flat with a beautiful wood grain, while the surface retains the chisel marks left by the craftsman, which are incorporated intentionally as part of the design.
Each groove is hand-carved, one stroke at a time, demonstrating a high level of skill and experience.
The carved surfaces of the inner base and the sides align seamlessly, reflecting the maker’s careful attention to detail.
The deeper carving on the bottom also acts as a natural anti-slip feature.
The rough and bold carving gives the piece a strong and dynamic impression.
On the outer side surfaces, irregular chisel marks resembling blade strokes contribute to its distinctive aesthetic.
Despite its solid appearance, it is surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle.
