京焼から瑞泉 作の芋頭（いもがしら）水指のご紹介です。
芋頭とは、茶入れや水指でよく見られる形の一種で
口がつぼみ尻張りで、里芋のような形をしているところから
こう呼ばれるようになったようです。
水指の外側には、「寿」の字体を変えたモノが上下にたくさん書かれており
大変縁起のいいものとなっています。
その間には山水画が描かれています。
山や川や海、行きかう舟や鳥、松などの木々や建物など
風光明媚な景色が描かれていて、とても落ち着きます。
蓋にも、そのミニチュワのような山水画が描かれています。
摘みも珍しく、円錐形をしておりデザインの特徴となっています。
自然の風景が描写された、飽きの来ない水指となっています。

This is an introduction to an imogashira (taro-head) mizusashi with underglaze blue decoration, titled Kotobuki and Landscape, by Zuisen of Kyō-yaki.
Imogashira refers to a type of form commonly seen in tea caddies and mizusashi. The mouth is bud-shaped and the body swells toward the base; because the overall form resembles a taro root, it came to be known by this name.
On the exterior of the mizusashi, numerous variations of the character “kotobuki” (longevity) are written above and below, making it an extremely auspicious piece.
Between them, landscape scenes are painted.
Mountains, rivers, and the sea, boats and birds in motion, pine trees and other vegetation, as well as buildings, are all depicted, creating a picturesque and tranquil scene that is deeply calming.
A miniature version of the same landscape painting is also applied to the lid.
The lid knob is also distinctive, being conical in shape and serving as a notable design feature.
This mizusashi, adorned with depictions of natural scenery, is a piece whose appeal never grows tiresome.

京烧 瑞泉 作 染付「寿」 山水芋头水指
这是来自京烧、由瑞泉所作的芋头（水指）的介绍。
所谓“芋头”，
是茶入或水指中常见的一种器形，
因其口部如花蕾般收敛、器身下部外鼓，
整体形似里芋，
因此得名“芋头”。
水指外侧上下绘有大量变化字体的「寿」字，
寓意吉祥，
是一件极具喜庆意味的作品。
其间描绘有山水画。
山峦、河川、海面、往来舟只与飞鸟，
以及松树等林木与建筑，
展现出风光明媚的景致，
令人心境安定。
盖子上亦绘有如同缩小版般的山水图景。
盖钮造型亦十分少见，
呈圆锥形，
成为设计上的一大特色。
整体以自然风景为主题，
是一件久看不厌的水指。
