越前塗から木製茶器・中棗のご紹介です。
茶道で薄茶を入れる器で、形が植物の棗（なつめ）の実に似ていることから
棗型と言われています。
大きさは大・中・小の中サイズなので、中棗とされています。
豊臣秀吉の菩提を弔うため、慶長十年1605年に秀吉の夫人である北政所が
京都に建立した高台寺霊屋とその調度品に施された蒔絵装飾を「高台寺蒔絵」といい
菊や桐を完全に意匠化・文様化されています。
この中棗には、その「高台寺蒔絵」を写して蒔絵がなされています。
金や赤を多用した華麗な柄は、後世まで受け継がれ現代になっても
様々な茶道具に使われ続けています。

This is an introduction to a wooden tea caddy (Chū-natsume) in Echizen lacquerware, decorated with Kōdaiji maki-e.
In the tea ceremony, a natsume is a container used for holding usucha (thin tea). Its shape resembles the fruit of the jujube (natsume), which is why it is referred to as the natsume form.
Natsume are classified by size into large, medium, and small; this piece is the medium size and is therefore called a chū-natsume.
“Kōdaiji maki-e” refers to the maki-e decoration applied to the mortuary hall of Kōdaiji Temple and its furnishings, which were established in Kyoto in Keichō 10 (1605) by Kita-no-Mandokoro, the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, to pray for his repose. The designs are fully stylized and patterned, featuring motifs such as chrysanthemums and paulownia.
This chū-natsume is decorated with maki-e that reproduces that Kōdaiji maki-e style.
The magnificent patterns, making extensive use of gold and red, have been handed down through the ages and continue to be used today on a wide variety of tea utensils.

这是对越前涂 木制 茶器 中枣（ちゅうなつめ） 高台寺莳绘的介绍。
中枣是在茶道中用于盛放薄茶的茶器，
因其造型类似植物**枣（なつめ）**的果实，
故被称为“枣形”。
本品尺寸属于大、中、小三种规格中的中等尺寸，
因此称为中枣。
为祭奠丰臣秀吉的冥福，
其夫人北政所于庆长十年（1605年）
在京都建立了高台寺灵屋，
并将施于灵屋及其陈设器物上的莳绘装饰
称为**“高台寺莳绘”**。
高台寺莳绘以菊花与桐纹为主题，
将其完全意匠化、纹样化，
形成极具特色的装饰风格。
本件中枣即是摹写这一高台寺莳绘样式，
并以莳绘技法精心装饰而成。
大量运用金色与红色的华丽纹样，
自古流传至今，
即使在现代，
仍被广泛运用于各类茶道具之中。
