Hasami Ware Crystal Carved Seigaiha Footed Sake Cup
We are pleased to introduce a footed sake cup with crystal carving from Hasami Ware.
“Crystal carving” involves creating countless tiny holes in the clay body, filling each hole with glass glaze, and firing the piece at a high temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius. The term “crystal carving” is derived from the beautiful transparency of the glass glaze, which resembles that of crystal.
The process of carving the clay and filling the holes is done entirely by skilled artisans, requiring an immense amount of effort and advanced technique.
Made from high-quality porcelain and fired at a high temperature, the cup features a refreshing hand-painted Seigaiha (blue ocean waves) pattern, enhancing its crispness.
This sake cup is perfect for enjoying Japanese sake or aperitifs.
The slightly flared rim makes for a pleasant drinking experience and ease of use.
Seigaiha patterns are hand-painted in three locations: the inner bottom, the rim, and the foot, showcasing the considerable craftsmanship involved.

波佐見烧 水晶雕刻 青海波 足付酒杯
这是一款来自波佐见烧的水晶雕刻足付酒杯。
“水晶雕刻”是指在陶土中刻上无数细小的孔，然后逐一填入玻璃釉，再在1300度的高温下烧制而成的陶瓷制品。
由于玻璃釉的透明度如同水晶般美丽，所以被命名为“水晶雕刻”。
雕刻陶土和填补孔洞的工作均由熟练工匠手工完成，需要耗费极大的时间和高超的技艺。
优质的瓷土经过高温烧制后，表面手绘了清凉的青海波图案，更增添了清爽的感觉。
