Introducing individual plates made of white porcelain from the Kaizan Kiln of Mr. Kaiji Tsukamoto, known for Mino ware.
Mr. Tsukamoto was recognized as a leading authority on blue-and-white porcelain, designated as an intangible cultural asset by the prefecture and city in 1948, and later as an important intangible cultural asset for white and celadon porcelain in 1958.
These plates are crafted from the kiln he created. They exhibit the beautiful hues characteristic of white porcelain, along with a high level of elegance in their shape and overall atmosphere, confirming their status as top-tier pieces.
The rim of the plate features six indentations, adding a design element and variation. Additionally, the rim is elevated, allowing the plate to be used as a serving dish.
The area for food is flat and wide, making it practical and easy to use. This section is adorned with a floral relief, imparting a sense of grace and beauty.
These plates are perfect for presenting sweets or fruit in a stylish manner when entertaining guests. Although simple, they enhance the presentation of food, making them an ultimate choice for elegant serving ware.
