越前塗から木製の莨盆（たばこぼん）のご紹介です。
莨盆とは、本来は昔からある莨（たばこ）を吸うための道具を
入れておいて、そのまま使うための深さのあるお盆です。
円形、長角、楕円形など様々な形があります。
茶道では正式なものが使われ、中に火入れ、灰吹き、煙草入れ、キセルなど
一式を入れて、待合や薄茶席に置かれます。
茶席で正客の位置を示すものとしても、認識されています。
この莨盆は、側面の４面に糸巻きの透かしが彫られていて
主に表千家系で使われることが多いようですが、絶対ではありません。
全体が黒で透かしで彫られた部分だけ朱で塗られており
シンプルですがデザイン的にも優れたものとなっています。
塗は真塗ではなく、傷が目立たない掻き合わせ塗となっているので
日常生活の中で、小物を入れたり、いつも使うものや、大切なものを入れたりして
使うことが出来ます。

Echizen Lacquerware, Wooden Tobacco Tray (Tabakobon),
Itomaki Design (Small Storage Box)
We are pleased to introduce this wooden tabakobon (tobacco tray) from Echizen lacquerware.
A tabakobon is a deep tray that has existed since olden times, originally intended to hold the implements used for smoking tobacco and to be used as they are. Such trays come in a variety of shapes, including round, long rectangular, and oval forms.
In the tea ceremony, formally prescribed types are used. A complete set—such as a hiire (charcoal container), haifuki (ash receptacle), tobacco pouch, and kiseru pipe—is placed inside, and the tray is set in the waiting area or at a usucha (thin tea) gathering. It is also recognized as an item that indicates the position of the principal guest at a tea gathering.
This tabakobon features openwork carvings in an itomaki (spool) motif on all four sides. It is said to be used most often in the Omotesenke tradition, though this is not absolute.
The entire piece is finished in black lacquer, with only the carved openwork areas highlighted in vermilion. While simple, the design is also aesthetically refined.
The lacquer finish is not a high-gloss shin-nuri, but rather a kakiawase-nuri finish, in which scratches are less noticeable. As a result, it can be used in everyday life as a container for small items, for things you use regularly, or for storing treasured belongings.

越前涂 木制 烟草盆（莨盆） 线轴纹 （小物收纳）
这是来自越前涂的木制烟草盆（莨盆）的介绍。
所谓莨盆，原本是自古以来用于盛放吸烟所需烟草用具，并可直接取用的一种具有一定深度的托盘。
其形状有圆形、长方形、椭圆形等多种样式。
在茶道中，会使用正式的莨盆，内部放置火入、灰吹、烟草袋、烟管等一整套用具，摆放于等候席或薄茶席上。
同时，它也被视为在茶席上指示正客位置的器具之一。
这件莨盆在侧面的四个面上雕刻有线轴纹样的透雕装饰，主要多见于表千家系的使用，但并非绝对限定。
整体以黑色为主，仅在透雕部分施以朱漆，设计简洁却富有美感。
其漆面并非真涂，而是采用掻合涂工艺，不易显现划痕，因此在日常生活中，也可作为小物收纳使用，用来放置常用物品或珍贵之物。
