Akazu Ware Oribe Iron Painting Handmade Individual Plates Set of 5
We are pleased to introduce a set of five individual plates from Akazu ware.
Individual plates are designed for serving smaller food items, such as sweets. These slightly smaller plates can also be used as side dishes.
The edges of the plates are coated with Oribe glaze over a white clay body, while the center features a simple iron painting of flowers and grasses. This design enhances the individuality of the dish while highlighting the food presented.
In the center of each plate, there is a swirling carved pattern that creates a three-dimensional texture. The edges of the plates are recessed in six places, forming a flower-like rim shape overall.
This dish showcases traditional techniques, reflecting high craftsmanship and considerable labor.
