We are pleased to introduce a white-glazed flower vase from Shigaraki Ware.
It is made by shaping brown coarse clay and applying a white glaze over it.
The rough texture of the clay is still visible through the glaze, giving it the characteristic atmosphere of Shigaraki Ware.
While the vase is not very large overall, it has a flat shape with considerable height, featuring a central indentation and pointed edges that resemble the horns of a samurai helmet.
The surface shows traces of being smoothed with a spatula, highlighting the unique form that can only be achieved through handcrafting.
This white vase enhances the colors of almost any flower, making it a highly versatile piece.
Even a few flowers can beautifully stand out in this vase.

信乐烧 手工花器 白釉 粗土 现介绍来自信乐烧的白釉花器。
